You have people doing the work. What’s missing may be someone with the time and experience to set priorities, make the calls between channels, and help the team follow through.
I take on that responsibility in a fractional role. You work directly with me on an agreed part of the business, with a clear understanding of what I own and how I work with your team.
What needs an owner?
It could be acquisition across paid, search, and content. It could be a website and messaging effort that needs senior direction. It could be a broader marketing function while you plan a permanent hire or grow the team.
We’ll define the decisions that belong in the role, the people involved, and the authority to carry the plan into execution. That includes budget choices, priorities, and how work gets approved. The title matters less than whether the arrangement lets us do the job.
I’ve led teams and run a business
I’ve served on the leadership teams at Bluehost and TrustRadius, grown a Newfold Digital marketing team from a handful of people to about 50, and built and sold an agency.
My background also includes SEO, audience growth, product direction, and commerce content across Ziff Davis brands including PCMag, Mashable, and Offers.com. I’m comfortable working through the detail with specialists and explaining the choices to leadership.
How we work together
I work alongside internal marketers, agencies, and other partners. We agree on the priorities, review what’s happening, and adjust the plan as we learn. When something stalls, I help resolve the decision or dependency behind it.
The working plan names the priorities, the decisions I own, and the work assigned to your team or partners. Our reviews cover what shipped, what we learned, and what needs a decision. If I recommend changing the budget or delaying an initiative, you’ll see the reasoning and what that means for the rest of the plan. We also agree on the time commitment and availability so expectations match the role.
If you need a focused project, we can scope it directly. If you need a full-time executive’s daily availability, we should account for that in the hiring plan. Fractional leadership works when the commitment fits the work.
