Working with Mark

Paid media that earns its place in the budget

Account reviews, campaign management, and a closer look at what happens after the click.

A campaign can look healthy in the ad platform and still leave you wondering why sales hasn’t felt the difference. Or it may be producing good customers, and you want to know how much more you can put behind it.

I work on both. I review and manage paid acquisition with the offer, landing page, and customer journey in view. Google Ads is often the starting point; the channel plan follows the audience and the job you need it to do.

Follow the response out of the ad account

I look at search terms, targeting, creative, spending, and conversion definitions. Then I follow the response. What did the ad promise? What did the page ask for? What kind of person or account came through?

If the campaign reaches suitable buyers but asks for a demo before they understand the problem, bid changes may do very little. The next move could be a clearer explanation, a more useful offer, or better follow-up. If the inquiries are a poor fit from the start, we need to look earlier in the campaign.

This is why access to the sales outcome matters. A form submission gives us one piece of information. Knowing whether the inquiry became a worthwhile conversation helps us decide what to repeat.

Give the next dollar a reason

For an existing account, I separate changes we can make now from questions that need a test. You’ll see the reasoning behind the priorities, including what I’d keep. A review shouldn’t create work just to demonstrate that a review happened.

For a new program, we start with the buyer, the offer, the available budget, and what we can realistically learn. A category that needs explanation calls for a different plan from one where people are already searching for a solution.

Choose the support you need

A focused audit identifies what to keep, stop, change, or test. Recommendations point to the relevant campaigns, search terms, ads, or pages and explain what we should see if the change helps. We’ll distinguish a tracking repair from a budget decision so one doesn’t get mistaken for the other. I can help implement it with your team or agency, or take on ongoing campaign management.

For ongoing work, we agree on budget authority, creative and page responsibilities, and the results we’ll review together. Reporting should help us make the next decision about spending, the offer, or the campaign.
